Well its been a while since I have updated the web site - Shame really I must do better, not a lot to report - 2022 wasn't very epic, we missed most of the summer here in the UK as we went on a family holiday to Florida - spent 4 weeks playing is theme parks - on what could very well be one of the last family (All of us together) holidays - our children are growing up with there own friends and places to go - so we wanted to get one last trip in before they no longer want to Holiday with their parents.
So not much in the way of sailing in 2022, however I have much better hopes for 2023.
Currently I am preparing the boat again after the Winter, - few bits of electrical work to do, and a new fresh Water pump, come the middle of March I will get Dione out of the water and check her over - get new Anodes - and then start to do some Sailing.
Oh I am also planning on upgrading the Saloon in my boat - but I am going to do a separate Video on that so will link to that later :-)
The Big plan for this year is to spend the Summer months on the boat - I have changed my job - which allows me much more flexibility over where I work - as long as I have a good internet connection I can work from anywhere, and Alison is a teacher so she gets the summer off,
So the plan is to spend the the last few weeks in July cruising west of Cardiff - Swansea, Tenby, Skomer, Milford etc, then to head back to Cardiff to collect my parents and then head for the South coast of England, stopping off at Lundy and Padstow- onto Dartmouth and up the river - then across to Alderney and Jersey - Back to the South coast where we will will say goodbye to my parents and then spend the rest of the summer exploring, I really want to spend some time in Lulworth Cove - hopefully our friends Martin and Michelle will join us on there Yacht - if he can sort it by then :-)
